Are you Insured?
Yes, I am fully insured with public liability cover of up to £1,000,000, along with care, custody and control cover for pets in my care. This gives you complete peace of mind while your pet is being looked after in your home.


Are you qualified?
I am trained in pet first aid and hold an advanced Level 3 pet first aid qualification, allowing me to respond calmy and appropriately in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Who will visit my pet?
All visits are carried out by me personally, so you and your pet will always see the same familiar face. This helps build trust, consistency, and a calm environment for your pet.

How do I book?
Bookings can be made by contacting me directly either by the online contact forms, by telephone, or by email. I will then confirm availability and arrange a meet & greet, which is required before your first booking.

How do I pay?
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash. The deposit or full payment is taken at the meet and greet once you are happy to proceed. Cash payments will be provided with a written receipt.

When do I need to pay?
Payment is required 48hrs before the first scheduled visit. A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the dates. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received. Failure to make the payment within the timeframe may result in the booking being cancelled.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made with more than the 48 hours notice will receive a refund, minus the 20% deposit. Cancellations made within 48hrs of the first scheduled visit will be charge 50% of the total booking cost, as the time is reserved specifically for you and is unlikely to be rebooked at such short notice. Once visits have started, any unused visits are non-refundable.

Do you charge extra on weekends or bank holidays?
Yes, weekend visits are charged at an additional £5 per visit. Bank holidays and peak dates such as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are charged at double the standard rate.

What areas do you cover?
I cover a local area within approximately a 3-mile radius of M45, including Whitefield, Prestwich, Radcliffe and surrounding areas, If you are unsure whether you are within my service area, please feel free to get in touch.

What time will you visit?
Visits are carried out within morning (8am - 12pm) and afternoons (12pm - 6pm) time windows. Visits are scheduled based on location and daily routing to ensure reliable and consistent care. Specific arrival time cannot be guaranteed.

Can I request a specific time?
To ensure efficient travel and reliable services for all clients, exact visit times cannot be guaranteed, Visits are carefully scheduled based on location and daily routines within the chosen time window.

Do you stay for the full visit time?
Yes, visits are carried out for the full booked duration wherever possible. During each visit, all agreed care is completed, including feeding, fresh water, and full wellbeing check.

For shorter visits, such as the 15-minute drop-ins, if your pet is not present, hiding, or does not require interaction, the visit may conclude once all essential care has been completed to a high standard.

What happens during a visit?
During each visit, your pet will receive fresh food and water, along with a full wellbeing check to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and settled. For dogs, this also includes letting them out for the toilet where required.


Longer visits include additional care such as cleaning feeding areas and litter trays where required, along with companionship and more detailed attention, while shorter drop-in visits are more focused on essential care only.

Can you administer medication?
Yes, I can administer oral medication where clear instructions are provided. I am not able to administer injections or medication that requires veterinary training.

What happens if a pet hides and won't come out?
This is completely normal behaviour, especially with cats, I will carry out all essential care such as feeding, refreshing water, and checking your pet's wellbeing, even if they choose not to come out or interact.

Can my pet go outside during visits?
Outdoor access can be provided if this forms part of your pet's normal routine and has been agreed in advance. Pets will be encouraged to return indoors before the end of the visit, however this cannot be guaranteed within the allocated time visit. If a cat or pet chooses not to return indoors, I will leave them safely outside and continue with the remainder of the visit, as I am unable to stay beyond the scheduled time.

What happens if food and supplies runs out during my booking?
Owners are responsible for ensuring there is enough food, litter, and any other essential supplies for the duration of the booking. If supplies run out, I will contact you or your emergency contact for instructions, as I am unable to leave visits to collect additional supplies.


How are keys handled?
Keys can be handled in a way that suits you:
•Keys can be provided at the meet & greet at no charge and returned via your letterbox after the final visit.
•Keys can be provided at the meet & greet and securely retained for future bookings at no charge.
•Keys can be collected from you for a £5 fee and returned via your letterbox after the final visit.
•Keys can be collected for £5 and returned in person for an additional £5 after the final visit.

Keys are stored securely and handles with care at all time for complete peace of mind.

What happens in an emergency?
In the event of an emergency, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. If you are unavailable, I will contact your emergency contact. If urgent veterinary care is required, your pet will be taken to your registered vet or nearest practice, Any veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

What happens in severe weather?
In the event of severe weather, I will make every reasonable effort to attend visits as scheduled, If travel becomes unsafe or impractical, visits may be delayed or re-scheduled where necessary. In this instance I will contact you or your emergency contact to ensure the pet's needs are met as safely as possible.

What happens if I am delayed returning home?
If you are delayed, I can continue visits where availability allows. Additional visits will be charged at the standard rate and payment will be required before additional visits are confirmed.
